Traveling to your NOVASOL holiday home in Croatia
Air
Croatia has eight major airports:
 - Zagreb
- Split
- Dubrovnik
- Pula
- Rijeka (on the island of Krk)
- Zadar
- Brac
- Osijek
If you're flying into Croatia from elsewhere in Europe, you'll almost certainly be flying to one of the first five.
If you are traveling from the UK/Ireland/Europe:
Four airlines have direct, scheduled flights from the UK to Croatia:
- British Airways
- Easyjet
- Wizz Air
- Croatia Airlines
Aditionally, Aer Lingus have flights from Dublin to Dubrovnik.
Most other major European airlines also have flights into Croatia, including Lufthansa, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Air France, CSA and LOT.
Ferries
Currently, there a only ferry services from Italy to Croatia - no services exist from any other European country. Ferries and catamarans depart from the ports of Venice, Rimini, Civitanova, Ancona, Pescara and Bari
Car
If you drive to Croatia, the best, quickest and cheapest route would be through Germany, beacuse of the German autobahns.
General traffic information
Remember to bring identification and driving license.
Speed limits: In towns 50km/h, on country roads 80km/h, on main roads 100km/h and on motorways 130km/h. Private cars with trailer/caravan 80km/h (all roads). Follow the rules.

- Blood-alcohol limit is 0.0%
- Use of mobile telephone while driving is forbidden
Tolls are levied on all motorways, on the route from Rijeka to Kupjak, in the Ucka and Rok tunnels and on the bridge to the island of Krk.
Petrol stations are open every day from 7 am to 5 pm/6 pm and in summer to 10 pm. Certain petrol stations in cities and on main roads are open 24 hours a day. Available petrol: Eurosuper 95, Super 98, Normal and Eurodiesel and diesel in cities.
Procedure in event of an accident: Inform the police (tel. 92). Make safe the site of the accident with a warning triangle and take all precautions to prevent a further accident. Wait for the police. The police will provide information regarding clearing up, Croatian insurance regulations, repairs etc. If your vehicle is damaged, you must be in possession of a police accident report; otherwise you cannot cross the border.
